Trip 2008

Here's the Final News & Details! You better hurry!!!!!
I told you this was a popular trip. As 0f 4/26/08, 8 people have signed-up for this trip. You need to hurry with this one!! Also please remember, the $150.00 cost is only an estimate. If we don't get 15 people signed-up, the cost will be higher. I don't see that as being an issue however. Our trip for 2008 is one that always gets a ton of response, so we are doing it again this August 12 - 14, 2008. We will begin at Beaver Island, visit both lights there, then over two days visit; South Fox Island, Squaw Island, Lansing Shoal, Skillagalee Island, Gray's Reef, White Shoal, and Waugoshance. Imagine getting within a few feet of Waugoshance!!! Our Captain has a boat that requires a small amount of draft and we get right next to it. In addition, we disembark the charter boat and get on Squaw and Fox Islands. NO LONG DISTANT SHOTS HERE! The arrangements are made, get ready for a trip of a lifetime. I have secured the charter for the August 12, 13, and 14. The only potentially negative news is, with the high cost of fuel, we are going to have to have at least 15 people to make this affordable for everyone. I like to go with a small group, but the cost of the charter has doubled since 2005, the last time we went, and it's all because of fuel costs. If we get 15 people, the cost will be $150.00 each. Remember, this cost is for the charter only! It is a two day charter, and we have three days to get it done. If you have any questions feel free to call me or Barb at home, 989-288-3288. If you would like to put your $100.00 deposit down click here, or mail it to Bugs Publishing, LLC, 8524 Monroe Rd, Durand MI 48429. Also remember that $50.00 of the deposit IS non-refundable.
